Pretend for a moment that you are The Lord God and that The Lord God is you. What would you do for you? How would you feel? I would want Him to know that I feel EXSTATIC that He is my Lord God and that I appreciate Everything He ever did and continues to do for me! That's how The Lord God does for you and how The Lord God feels for you and everyone all at the same time ALL the time. He gives us what we need when we need it. He provides love and comfort and joy when we need it the most, and He carries us when we are too weak to do it ourselves.
We get into trouble when we don't remember to ask and include Him in what we want and what we do and when we don't remember that He is NOT a genie in a bottle meant to be called on at the last minute to do whatever we want when we want.
